Introducing ghd's latest series of advertisements, featuring ¡®twisted fairytales¡¯, where Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood and Cinderella are all given a darker, more modern re-telling.
RAPUNZEL STEP BY STEP
Preparation: Prepare the hair with ghd replenish shampoo and conditioner, followed by ghd thermal protector and ghd obedience cream prior to blow drying. Once hair has been blow dried, apply ghd creation spray throughout.
- Step 1

Section the hair from the crown to the top of the ear both sides of the head and clip away front sections. Starting at the nape of the neck, make a horizontal section approximately 3cms deep and 5cms wide.
- Step 2

Hold the section near to the root area, twist clockwise. Using the ghd IV styler apply horizontally to the root area and rotate 180 degrees, whilst twisting the hair as it is being guided through the styler.
- Step 3

Once the first row has been completed, repeat the technique working upwards to the crown.
- Step 4

Release the side sections and repeat this technique working with horizontal sections upwards to the parting.
- Step 5

Once completed apply a small amount of ghd polishing serum into the palms of your hands, rub together and work through hair from mid lengths to ends. Using the ghd air brush and your hands to work through the waves to mould and smooth the hair into the desired shape.
- Step 6

Now spray a fine mist of ghd ultimate hairspray to set the desired shape followed by ghd reflection spray to give that extra instant shine to the hair.

CINDERELLA STEP BY STEP
Prepare the hair with ghd elevation shampoo and conditioner, followed by ghd thermal protector, ghd uplift spray to the roots and ghd fat hair to the mid lengths and ends prior to blow drying. Once blow dried apply ghd creation spray throughout.
- Step 1

Starting at the nape of the neck make a horizontal section approximately 3cm x 2 cm. Using the ghd IV classic styler, apply horizontally and rotate 180 degrees. Slightly elevate the styler upwards whilst slowly guiding the hair through the styler to achieve extra volume at the root area.
- Step 2

Repeat this technique to the top of the ears.
- Step 3

Take a horse shoe section from the temples to the point between the occipital bone. Continue with the same technique throughout working upwards towards the parting.
- Step 4

Once reaching the parting slightly direct your section backwards whilst guiding the hair through the styler and slightly elevating at the root area.
